Jonathon griped to me a bit ago that he avoided making a comment because he had a hard time decoding the whatever it is one had to decode to post a comment. He asked me to remove it, suggesting that perhaps it contributed to the embarrassingly few comments. I thought about it and decided to give it a try. I certainly get more comments now but I suspect that most of them are generated by those 'robots' we are urged to prove we are not and many of them make little or no sense at all.
I love to get feedback - I feel less like I am talking to the wall that way. I have been tempted to close this book when I evaluate the "success" of the enterprise based on comments and then I remember why I write or I get a comment written from someone's heart and I know that the number of comments does not really equal success.
Thank you for reading and for any comments. I hope it doesn't put too many off but I am going to add the annoying word verification feature back to the comments - most of the new wave of comments kind of freak me out. lol

Here's me commenting! Don't ever stop!
I haven't been commenting but I have been reading!
Hi Cheri -
Yours and Eden's blog's are the only two I follow. I love the recipes, I love your rants, your thots, the openness with which you share. Life as we know is a journey and often the paths we once travelled take a different turn from those we once walked with. I have always valued the time spent when our children were young. There was a connection that I believe will always be there. My vote is for you NOT to quit - I know you have walked through dark days, good days, happy and sad - your life's journey is not just a 'theory' but the bread and butter of life. I am grateful that you take the time to share. Always reading and always appreciative.

yes, thanks for sharing your blog, and nat and I often talk about new recipes/etc you have on here!
I make several of your recipe's and have pinned many so I can find them easily.
I comment from time to time, but have been a bit bashful about commenting more.
I love your writing your perspective and your truth that you put out there. It often humbles and grounds me and I just love that.
I even recently got around to using the PDF's of the organization quotes you kindly shared.
Never stop. You have wonderful things that you offer.
Me too! I'm here. I read every post and often pin and try recipes. I also read Eden's blog, and thoroughly enjoy the photography on both of your blogs. Thank you for the diversity of your blog. I really love it. Yes, the code thing is annoying, but necessary. Oh well.
I almost never comment but I enjoy reading this blog. I recently pared down and removed all but my most favourite blogs from my links so that I am not tempted to waste too much time reading them. I am happy to say yours in one that made the cut! Thanks for continuing to share your delicious recipes and your perspective on life and family - I have gained much from reading it.
please don't stop! I don't know how I would cook without all of your amazing recipes!!! thanks for taking the time to share all your great...stuff:)

Cheri:
I have said this before....because of you sharing your recipes, I am no longer a "convenience" cook. I really enjoy cooking from scratch again (and with a new oven and cooktop, there is no stopping me!) I love reading your thoughts, perspective and of course your recipes. Yours and Edens blogs are the only two I follow. Please don't stop....either one of you!!

Wow!! Thanks everyone - you are all so kind. Each comment made me smile and a few made me laugh. As silly as it may be I do cherish your comments because they connect you to me.
I love your blog, I love the recipes, this way I don't have to copy them down I can always find them when I need them. I love all the memories, and thoughts. I love you, my sister
I <3 your blog. Never stop writing. Or cooking. ;)
Checking in silently but lovingly down here in Chicago...love the recipes and reflections! I am here quietly enjoying the salt and sweetness of your posts. Thanks for sharing, even though I may not be always responsive!
